I'm going to be completely honest, and say I am not blown away by the shoot itself, as the usual Vogue uniform-background-color-with-the-latest-trends-on-a-model is not my favorite kind, but damn her legs just make me wish I stuck to my New Year's resolution. Which I do plan on restarting... tomorrow. I just can't comprehend how she's this thin after a baby. Gosh, I feel like such a lazy pig today. I didn't step out of my apartment once. I've been simultaneously watching reality shows, and the most random movies you could think of while having my weekly dose Ben & Jerry's haha I'm kidding, but if there's some in the house, it usually doesn't last long.

I guess the only thing that's really worth saying is that it finally snowed. I'm guessing December 5th is pretty late. Personally I don't like snow, and I'm not so entertained by the fact that I have to read 5 status' about snow per minute on Facebook. I mean I love watching it fall from my window, but I just can't stand walking through it in the city. It gets all gross, and frustrating to walk in. I might seem pretty paranoid, but I guess I just love summer too much.

And, speaking of looking through windows, guess who I saw the other day walking on Lexington Ave? ANNA WINTOUR. I'm not joking, I could feel my heart rate going up when I saw her infamous and perfect haircut, her gorgeous Chanel tweed jacket, and her skinny (I have to say bony) body. Here comes the bad part, I was in a bus, so I only got to look at her for a few seconds, and didn't have a chance to exclaim the slightest bit of my admiration for her.

Once again, I apologize. So much has been happening lately that I can't really find the time to blog. I went to a yankee game yesterday btw! Sooooooo amazing! That game was absolute perfection. My friend and I had 12th row seats, which are basically the best seats for most people considering that all the ones that were in front of us cost $2000. So much happened, but of course the yankees won so that's definitely what's most important! Sorry for not posting in a long long long time. I've been back in NYC for a little more than a week now and it's such a bittersweet feeling. Obviously NYC is great, but compared to Paris, there's a lot more noise, and honestly I miss the food so much! haha Well I brought back some macarons from La Duree, but I miss eating with my friend at Cafe de la Paix. I also miss watching people in Paris. There's something about them, they always care about how they carry themselves. Everyone has this sort of elegance to them. But, of course, I'm happy to be sleeping in my own bed again, and shopping at Saks :)

Currently Watching: July 14th Parade in Paris

Hi! It's been a reallyyyy long time since I've posted anything, sorry! I went to Spain for a week with my family, and the good news is that it was really fantastic and I had an awesome time! The really bad news is that I lost my camera on the last day! :'((( I was so upset you can't even imagine, yes, I cried. It might seem ridiculous, but I had so many amazing pictures. Now, I'm back in Paris without a camera. How bad does that sentence sound? Really terrible. I know.

Anyways let's think more of the positive. I did find great deals on clothes in Paris especially from Zadig & Voltaire and See by Chloe. Also when I was in Spain, I got 4 tees for 5.99 euros each from Zara! So I'm definitely going to continue shopping, just not today because it's the 14th of July! Oh and yesterday I bought Nutella, Carambar's, Kinder's, Milka's, and Lion's to bring back home to the US of A. Yes, I love chocolate! Oh which brings me to say that I truly believe I'm gaining weight because every morning is filled with Pain au Chocolat's and baguette's and other delicious things! So enough with my rambling, I will try to put in some real posts tonight.

Hello everyone! Yes, I'm in Paris. I know I left no warning, and this was on purpose LOL. As usual, it's simply beautiful here, even though it's raining, oh well. I'm sorry I've been away for so long! Chicago was greatt! So nothing bad happened, I've just been extra busy therefore extra tired! I'm extremely fascinated by Julia's interviews. Here's another good one from Refinery29:

"You definitely like to mix up your wardrobe between high-end and everyday denim. What's the one thing in your closet that's a constant?
Latex pants? Ha ha! No, I don't know. I do have a few favorite pieces but my style can't be summed up in one piece. It's more about the right mix between girly and rock.

What designer do you gravitate toward?
Azzedine Alaia because he embraces a woman's curves.

When did it hit you that your family was much more creative than most? Did you feel a sense of destiny for yourself?
I realized it pretty young. I always knew I wanted to do something artistic, not specifically in fashion though.

She told me not to try too hard or follow the trends too much—because they change too fast.

All of the vintage dresses I wore as a child. I still have them in storage at my parents' house in Paris.

You recently became the face for the new denim line, Restoration of the Monarchy. Given the world domination of denim these days, why did you find this line special?
[I loved that] it was a totally different way to wear jeans. So many jeans cut today feel more tomboyish, but the Restoration of the Monarchy jeans are much more feminine.

How many pairs of jeans do you own?
Not so many, maybe three?

Could you see yourself ever extending your design talents to clothes?
I love designing, so whatever it is, I'd be happy to do it—from shoes, to bags, to make-up packaging…even jewelry!"

Man it's been a long time since my last post! I do have a reason though! My computer froze on Thursday night, and I went to the Apple Store to get it fixed, and I picked it up about a half an hour ago! I'm sorry I have no photos for this post, my hard drive got replaced so I'm basically starting from scratch which is really too bad because I had some great photos saved on my desktop :( Anyways I have a history test tomorrow, and I have to read about 100 pages of this... um.. interesting book. So until the next post which will hopefully and most likely be very soon! So please continue reading my blog, and I'm really sorry for this whole week of no posts!
